Research Study

Researchers associated with Rackham's Graduate Certificate in Healthy Cities would like to share the opportunity to participate in a research project on "Healing Journeys: How Space and Place Influence Healing from Domestic Violence" (HUM00260756). This project is recruiting adult women within the U.S. who have experienced Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and who have been out of the relationship for at least one year to share their stories of healing and recovery with our research team.

Details about the study can be found on UMHealthResearch at https://umhealthresearch.org/studies/HUM00260756

The goal of the study is to explore how different environments impact healing for survivors of IPV. By listening to survivors' stories, we aim to understand how their surroundings--like shelters, homes, or public places--support or affect their recovery.

Participants will take part in a 60-minute Zoom interview with a member of our research team. This interview, conducted on camera, will allow them to share their personal stories and experiences in a supportive setting. This study can be completed entirely from home.

We encourage you to share this information with friends and family who may be interested. If you would like to participate, please visit https://umhealthresearch.org/studies/HUM00260756. You can also email the principal investigator directly at kkinder@umich.edu or fill out this form to have us contact you: https://shorturl.at/CAIUF.
